How Soon Can I Get My Black Belt?

This is like asking the coach at a basketball camp on your first day of training when you’ll be able to play in the NBA.

Traditionally, Chinese Kungfu don’t have a belt ranking system. Chinese Kung Fu (Wushu) schools do not focus merely on giving guaranteed belts. All students earn their ranks by successfully passing their rank exam. We typically show belt (sash) ranking to indicate whether a (child) student is either novice, beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

At the Northern Shaolin Academy you will learn traditional stance training, coordination, flexibility, forms, weapons, two-man weapons and empty hand sets, lion dancing, and sparring (continuous contact and full contact). It is our hope that you will come to the Academy with hopes of learning true authentic martial arts (discipline) and not "Run, Fun, and Games".

We will provide you with qualified instructors, most with over 20 years of experience. Our Academy is ran like a Family.
