Sifu Don's "Fighting Combos Drill" is now in the Tien Shan Pai Curriculum page with videos if you are signed in.

This is a 10-part drill that combines two fighting combos:
01. forward foot + forward hand + rear hand
02. forward hand + rear hand + rear foot.

These are the 10 kicking techniques, along with basic punches, backfists, slapping hands, and hand clearing:
01. Heel Kick
02. Front Snap Kick
03. Roundhouse Kick
04. Stealing Step + Side Kick
05. Side Kick + Hook Sweep
06. Hook Kick + Whip Kick
07. Axe Kick
08. Outside Crescent Kick
09. Tornado Kick + Inside Crescent Kick
10. Moon Kick + Spinning Back Kick

The drill uses repetition to develop each kick systematically.

It teaches kicks from forward foot, which is rare in drills or forms, and from the rear foot.

There is a moving and standing version, solo and two person versions, and a solo heavy bag version.

In application, the combos can be done with any kick or hand technique desired. You can mix and match for many possibilities beyond what is done in the drill.

It is also responsive to resizing and should use two columns for higher resolutions and single columns for lower resolutions in some sections.

We made some changes to the Gallery, organizing by year and month when possible, adding some new sections, and adding new images.

As a bonus, we made it so that the images are now resizable in the viewer, so you shouldn't see scrollbars for hi-res photos any longer!

Our Home page has a Latest Photos section at the top of the right menu. It takes a few seconds to scan the server, then shows the newest image in each section.

Click the section name to jump to all its images. Click the image or caption to view the full-sized image. The link at the bottom takes you to the root of the Gallery.

The arrows let you browse the Latest Photos as fast as you like, circling from beginning to end when appropriate.
