Tien Shan Pai Curriculum

Sigung - Three Power Straightsword

The old romanization (Wade-Giles) was "T’ien Shan P’ai", abbreviated to "Tien Shan Pai".
The Chinese simplified characters are 天山派, and the official pinyin is "Tiān Shān Pài".

General Sūn Bìn of the Warring States period was a
descendant of Sūn Tsu, author of The Art of War.
Sun Bìn Quan is the name of his style.
The sets are numbered like in Tai Chi, such as 32 or 64.
They are nicknamed "Long Sleeves" from the
flowing characteristics of the strikes.
